Sidel is set to showcase its cutting-edge expertise in aseptic packaging solutions at Djazagro 2024, held at Djazagro B0333, Hall 3. The event, attracting professionals from various sectors including processing, filling, and packaging, is scheduled from April 22 to 25, 2025, at the SAFEX Exhibition Park in Algiers.
Among the highlights is Sidel’s presentation of the Aseptic Combi Predis™ on stand B033, featuring an integrated blow-fill-cap solution for PET bottles incorporating Predis™ dry preform sterilization. Bassam Oussaifi, Vice President Sales Middle East & Africa at Sidel, emphasizes the benefits: “By eliminating conveying, empty-bottle handling, accumulation, and storage, Aseptic Combi Predis™ optimizes line layout with a smaller footprint, enhancing production hygiene and efficiency while reducing operating costs.”
Sidel’s installation of Ghana’s first aseptic line for Niche Cocoa Industry Ltd has enabled the company to expand into PET-packaged milk products, launching the country’s inaugural locally produced and aseptically bottled chocolate milk. The decision to opt for PET packaging, with its recyclability, affordability, and lightweighting properties, alongside Sidel’s Predis™ aseptic dry preform technology, yielded a 99.6 percent line efficiency, elevating customer satisfaction.
The Super Combi, integrating preform feeding, blowing, labeling, filling, and cap feeding into a single system, will also be featured at Djazagro. Ideal for water and carbonated soft drink production, this solution, noted for its equipment intelligence optimizing production and performance, was recently installed for Mai Dubai, one of the region’s leading bottled water companies.
Sidel’s exhibition will also spotlight EvoFILL Glass and EvoFILL Can, boasting advanced filling capabilities within stringent hygienic conditions. EvoFILL Can operates at over 130,000 cans per hour, while EvoFILL Glass, suitable for beer and CSD manufacturers, offers flexibility and efficiency, running at over 80,000 bottles per hour.
